9:15 - 10:30 Db2 for z/OS and data set encryption (Mark Rader, IBM)

This session discusses the Db2 changes and the roles that participate in encrypting sensitive data. Included are the new features that allow Db2 staff to specify key labels for encryption, and positioning data set encryption relative to other options for encrypting Db2 data.

10:45 - 12:00 Db2 12:  How do I keep up with this stuff? (Michael Cotignola, BMC)

We’ll take a quick look at the usual suspects:
  Reliability, Availability, Scalability, Security
We can’t forget about:
  Analytics, Autonomics, Cloud, Mobile, Machine Learning

1:15 – 2:30 How Can Db2 DBAs Get Agile?  (Frank Rhodes, BMC)

Understand the need for Db2 for z/OS DBAs to participate in agile deployment.
Discuss the issues around schema changes associated with deployments.
Discuss the importance of test provisioning for Db2 z/OS in a DevOps environment.

2:45 - 4:00  Know your limits!  (Ulf Heinrich, SEGUS)

This will show the limits within Db2 on z/OS starting with DSSIZE or PIECESIZE. Moving on to Linear Dataset limits then how the COPYPOOL is looking followed by PBGs where you must be aware of MAXPARTIONS among other things. Then we will review SEQUENCES and Numeric Primary Key usage before delving into the abstract limit of Db2 within the Db2 engine including DBATs etc.
