The popular wildfire workshop CMDB21 DB2 for z/OS Cloud and Mobile Wildfire Workshop is back and better than ever! This two day free workshop will discuss all of the new enhancements to the mobile world and z/OSMF. February 13 is mobile day where attendees will learn all about the latest regarding native REST and z/OS Connect. Attendees will use DB2 Stored Procedures and SQL statements to do such functions as SELECT and DELETE using both native REST and create z/OS Connect APIs. February 14 we discuss DB2 and the cloud. Attendees will understand what z/OSMF is and also hear a presentation from SVL's John Lyle regarding DB2 12 install and migration. Attendees will then use DB2 and z/OSMF to either install a new DB2 12 subsystem or alternatively migrate a DB2 11 to 12 subsystem. There is no cost, it is free.
