General Data Protection Regulation:
Be acknowledged that in order to visit an IBM Client Center, you will be asked to provide us information such as: name, email-address, and general professional attributes such as job role, geography and industry in which they work. Much of this information is optional.
Why do we collect it?
IBM Client Centers collect client data in order to operate, maintain and provide you with features and function that enhance the Client Center experience. The sites sponsor's aggregate metrics such as number of attendees, unique visits to site and pattern of usage to improve content and usability. The client data entered in this request may be transferred, stored and processed in the United States and other countries in which IBM does business.
How long will we store it?
The PI data will be stored on multiple servers for up to five years from the end date of the event unless we receive a request by the client to remove their data.
Withdrawal of consent
We will retain this data for a period of five years. If the client chooses to withdraw their consent before the five years is up, please contact the Client Center and we will remove all of their personal information within 30 days. Once the data is removed it will not be possible to restore it.
