How RELEASE(DEALLOCATE) for distributed access can help you? Is it true that Storage Below the Bar is not a problem anymore? We will discuss what is new for distributed access in DB2 10. We will also use this opportunity to review the key concepts of distributed applications and DB2 for z/OS.

Now the focus has to move from virtual to real memory management in order to maintain system performance and availability.
