His portfolio includes Db2 on Cloud, Db2 Warehouse on Cloud, Netezza on Cloud and Data Virtualization as Service. His team is responsible for product development, SRE, provisioning/operation/monitoring, security & compliance, performance, as well as the underlying cloud infrastructure. Michael also involves in the development of business strategies, go-to-market (GTM), offering management and sales for these products.

Miran Badzakis the Program Director running the IBM Db2, Db2 Warehouse and Informix portfolio of businesses. His mission is simple: establish and maintain IBM’s dominance in the databases market. Miran has held various roles since joining IBM in 2007, launching several cloud services including Watson ML, Streaming Analytics, Db2/Db2 Warehouse SaaS, and more. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
