Dr. Michael Kwok is the Executive Director of Cloud Database Development, Client Success & Competitive Office, Hybrid Data Management (HDM), IBM Data and AI.Michael leads a global engineering team to deliver the world-class cloud database services on IBM Cloud, AWS and Azure. His portfolio includes Db2 on Cloud, Db2 Warehouse on Cloud, Netezza on Cloud and Data Virtualization as Service. His team is responsible for product development, SRE, provisioning/operation/monitoring, security & compliance, performance, as well as the underlying cloud infrastructure. Michael also involves in the development of business strategies, go-to-market (GTM), offering management and sales for these products.

Miran Badzakis the Program Director running the IBM Db2, Db2 Warehouse and Informix portfolio of businesses. His mission is simple: establish and maintain IBM’s dominance in the databases market. Miran has held various roles since joining IBM in 2007, launching several cloud services including Watson ML, Streaming Analytics, Db2/Db2 Warehouse SaaS, and more. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
