Speaker Bio: Bonnie Baker is a consultant and educator specializing in applications performance issues on the DB2 for z/OS platform. She is an IBM Champion, an IBM DB2 Gold Consultant, a five-time winner of the IDUG Overall Best Speaker award, and a member of the IDUG Speakers' Hall of Fame. She is best known for her series of seminars entitled "Things I Wish They'd Told Me 8 Years Ago" and the "Programmers Only" column in IBM Data Magazine.

Abstract:  Over the years, Bonnie has presented multiple "Things I Wish They'd Told Me 8 Years Ago" one-day seminars, twelve in all. In this year's IDUG seminar she takes the best of those 12 seminars and presents one full-day of critical information for anyone writing or supporting applications using DB2 for z/OS. In this seminar she will find time to use all of her well-loved stories and analogies to explain how DB2 works and thinks. She will teach in a way that makes complex topics simple and try her best to make your life with DB2 easier.
